Exemption

I’ve had a few instances where I got really panicky after wearing a mask for a while.

The first, I was shopping in Banff in my protest mask, and after maybe an hour or so, the bottom half of my lungs felt like they were suffocating. I could NOT breathe deeply enough to make them feel like they were working.

Then in one of the stores, that not-working feeling turned into actual panic. I HAD to take the mask off and breathe.

It took hours for me to feel normal again.

The worst one however, was after the flight to Mexico (yes, you can travel during a scamdemic). I wore a VERY breathable one my mom had made, basically glorified lace, but an hour or two after landing, I suddenly started to panic again. This one was way worse. Hyperventilating, basically, and I became useless for parenting. Hubby said I was hysterical and he’s never seen me that way before. This was right as we got to our resort, a moment I should have been enjoying.

Ever since then, I’ve cut my mask usage drastically. In moments where I don’t want to deal with conflict (those are becoming less frequent by the way), I opt for a face shield (https://www.amazon.ca/Mingle-Mask-Invisible-Ergonomically-Protection/dp/B08HJGRTVR) so I can breathe. Usually I just go mask-free.

However, a couple weeks ago, I really wanted a coffee, and I didn’t have a mask with me. And I was on foot. The Starbucks guy gave me one (no wiggle room with Starbucks or Costco), so I wore a mask for about 10 minutes, and my diaphragm started cramping. It was very strange and not too fun.

I truthfully don’t understand how people are wearing these things all day and not dying. Their fear of conflict must be WAY stronger than their desire to feel healthy??

I decided to get my paperwork in order. Most of the time I don’t get confronted at all, but when I do, it’s because somebody is afraid of bad press or litigation or trouble for their company with AHS. I wanted to give them some fear of litigation from the opposite angle, and booked a mask exemption card appointment with lawyers4truth.ca

I talked to them for a good 40 minutes about the state of affairs in the world and how illegal these restrictions are, how when tickets get appealed and it’s time for AHS to provide disclosure, they drop the charges because they have no grounds and they know it. None of the lawyer’s questions had to do with what my medical status is, because they recognize everyone’s need for oxygen as making us inherently exempt from an unconstitutional and unproven medical intervention.

I ordered exemption cards for the whole family. They come signed by the lawyer, with your name and photo on them, and a threat about “if you do not honor my exemption, be prepared to face legal action.” 🙌🏻

Another thought I had - the more paperwork signed by doctors and lawyers I have now regarding masks, the easier it will be when the vaccine is being shoved down our throats to get an official exemption to that, too.
