If my kid can do it, so can I

So my son at school today!
Some kids in library were trying to get him to use hand sanitizer and he was telling them it was full of chemicals and reading the container. And saying to them that “we should obey our parents.” He wasn’t sad or upset, just matter of fact.
“That’s even in the Bible, right?” he asked when he shared this story with me.
This kid has so much integrity, first of all. And secondly, if he can stand up to peer pressure no problem, what’s my excuse?
So I ditched my mask and went into Co-Op. And nothing bad happened. Nothing happened.
Although I did see a guy I know from my past somewhere (he didn’t see me), my parents age, hard working contractor type, all muzzled up in his mask, and it just hit me again how the “elite” who don’t have their boots on the ground are preying on really hard-working well-meaning people, completely indifferent to how many lives they’re affecting or who they make sick through hypoxia and bacterial pneumonia. Everyone just HOPES things will get better. It made me pretty sad.
But I digress.
If these tickets aren’t turning into convictions, what on earth are we doing? There is no data to support any of the restrictions.
I showed our new rental place to 8 different groups of people the other day.
Two groups kept their masks on. ZERO said anything about my bare face, and ALL the rest were SO RELIEVED when they asked if they had to wear theirs and I said “NO!!! I believe in air!!”
How do we get rid of the mandatory masks? Just take your mask off.
As Chris Sky would say, #justsayno
