It’s not freedom if you have to obey them to live freely

This is many people’s argument on why getting the vaccine is no big deal...
“Yes, I keep hearing all the antivax news, I read it, but I also see the very serious side effects of long covid from getting Covid, even young people who have had relatively mild cases and seem to recover quickly, several months later will have an organ failure or unexpected complications, it is not easy to decipher.
Many Christians say ..’well I trust God with my life so I am not going to get the vaccine’ I say well, can you not trust God with your life if you do take the vaccine? Are you going to die one day sooner or later than God has planned for you anyway?”
My perspective:
I don't like how people put people into pro-vax and anti-vax labels. All I'm against is forced/obligatory vax. Same with "are you an anti masker?" No. I'm a "mask choicer."
And yes, in theory the above perspective is great, but the exact same thing could be said about "long vaccine side effects."
We simply don't know if it's going to cause an overreaction of the immune system later on down the line, chronic problems or fertility issues we haven't identified yet, and I'm not willing to be one of their test subjects on the road to figuring that stuff out.
On principle, it's not freedom if you have to obey some brand new and unproven government policy in order to behave freely.
