Hello,
I’m a little surprised that in the middle of a so-called pandemic we can spare 5+ emergency vehicles including an ambulance to pollute neighborhoods with noise, alarming most of us (sirens are a very unnerving noise), and spending our tax dollars for “birthday parades.”
Clearly the essential services have plenty of time on their hands. Maybe instead of promoting the “new normal,” we should be focusing on getting back to the real normal and pushing back against the politicians telling us all what to do with no data to back it up.
Kids should not be locked inside on their birthdays, especially when they’ve been proven not to be a big factor at all in the spread of covid.
I don’t appreciate the visual and auditory reminder that although small businesses are being suffocated and healthy kids are locked inside, with no data to support these measures, fire and police are paid well and have all the time in the world to spend my tax dollars on this.
Let’s focus our efforts on upholding the actual law (freedom of movement and assembly), and upwards toward the politicians, stop doing their unproven bidding, stop the madness, and get our kids’ world back to normal.
Thank you for listening.
You should put this in the high river times! Such a waste of our resources. Clearly people aren’t dropping like flies like they want us to believe.
